Breathing fresh air into the lungs of the UK death metal scene, Bath-based youngsters TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED have certainly been making a name for themselves. Having played with the biggest names in metal over the last couple of years, and had unrivalled support from metal magazines around the world, including being nominated as Best Underground Band at 2008’s Metal Hammer Awards, and Best New Band in 2009’s, and having their first magazine cover courtesy of Terrorizer. Oh, and influential website Blabbermouth.net declared them “The UK’s heaviest band…”! After Purgation and The Great Depression, the band release their third album in May. Entitled Degenerate, it was recorded at the start of 2010 and co-produced by the band and their regular producer Mark Daghorn (Orange Goblin/Cradle Of Filth), with Jacob Hansen (Aborted/Hatesphere/Volbeat) mixing.
