Album Review

This first single from Under the Bushes, Under the Stars is packaged along with three other complementary tracks. "Why Did You Land?" leaves little impression, but "Deaf Ears" is a taut rocker. The real standout, though, is the pure pop sing-along, "June Salutes You." The bouncy second chorus, on which producer Kim Deal joins Pollard for a duet, provides an appropriately sunny conclusion to this single.
