well well said the rocking chair

Remembered this from when I was a kid "borrowing" my big brothers albums. Searched for it -heard the first few bars and had to buy it.
Sit down, press play, kick back and remember the times we had nothing to do but listen to good music.....bliss.....

intelligent music

I loved this in my early 20's. Just as fabulous today. Well written lyrics about everyday life. S & M is extremely funny too!

Lucky Stars

This was a favourite in 1978 when i was 10, and 30 years on it's still a memorably different pop classic.
The New Jersey vocals were a welcome change to the usual smooth US tones, and Friedman's wit is a thread that works as well here as in his later works. Recommended.
