Nothing Exiting

This album has some exellent production values and some very catchy beats, but to be honest, Ross's rhymes are just too bland to carry a whole album and it ends up becoming boring. The same can be said for the featuring artists, who offer nothing that great. Dr Dre bigs up his headphones (Twice!!) and Jay-Z, whilst throwing in some funny lines, doesn't offer anything that makes me wan to listen again and again. As i said, the only saving grace for this album is the production. Ross and raps over very smooth jazzy horns and some very glitzy, glamourous beats that convey the life of excess that Ross conveys. Yet, the only flavour this album offers is that one feeling of excess, and it gets a bit boring. With so many talented rappers around right now putting out unique material, i can't really recommend this album. If you liked Ross's previous material, go for it, but there's nothing new here.

God Forgives, I Don't is a masterpiece

The production on this album is amazing! Many may argue this isn't as strong as Teflon Don but it contains some brilliant pieces!
