Album Review

After numerous sold-out tours and two highly acclaimed albums under their belts, Australian drum'n'bass outfit Pendulum release their first-ever live collection. Recorded at the renowned Brixton Academy in London over two dates in December 2008, the band perform a selection of tracks from their albums, including their massive remix of the Prodigy's Voodoo People, and their reinterpretation of Metallica's Master of Puppets. A DVD of the live set directed by Grammy-nominated Paul Caslin is also included., Rovi

Absolutly Fantastic.

Saw them at the Isle of Wight Festival a few days ago. they were AMAZING. the best band there by far. listening to this brilliant album relives those moments. they sound so much better live than in their studio songs. Buy it, You won't be dissapointed

An amazing live album

I saw Pendulum at Brixton and this album brings back memories of that night in stunning detail. Not a single bad track on this disc; even the somewhat mellow version of Hold Your Colour is a grower. All the tunes sound even better live and more emotive, especially with an unedited Rob Swire singing over them. Highlights are Showdown (especially the intro), Voodoo People, Slam, Hold Your Colour and, my favourite, The Tempest. If you ever needed a live album, you need this one.

Worth it even jus for the covers!

I saw pendulum live in bournemouth last december and this was one of the best live acts i have seen. listening to this album reminded me of how awesome it was and the atmosphere was electrifying. This album is worth the buy even just for the covers of the Prodigy and Metallica. Voodoo People and Master of Puppets are both excellent tunes.
