'wait...I'm in the right house, in the right room...'

3rd single from eponymous album 'Disappear Here'.

A really good range of mixes making great use of the original's classy piano line and the haunting vocals of Charlotte James.

Andy Moor delivers an absolute belter of a mix without losing the feel of the album version; pushing the tempo right up to breakneck speed with driving beats, a gorgeous breakdown and clever use of vocal stuttering.

For those wanting a 4 a.m 'heads down' feel to their remix then look no further than the 'Antix' mix. A deep chugging, spacey progressive house edit making use of the vocals in a cool way, bobbing along nicely to the finish line.

A personal favourite is Hybrid's own 'Orchestral Armchair Version' - an absolutely heartbreaking edit using their trademark use of soaring strings and dark bass rumbles to give their typical epic sombre mood. A real treat for those who crave Hybrid's 'soundtrack' sound without dance beats - this is sublime music with sections that can make your soul fly and a counteractive darkness that is beautiful yet utterly devastating.

Not normally a huge fan of single remix outputs but...

... the leg work has been well and truly done for this release. Of particular note is the industrial and darker remix done in-house by Hybrid Soundsystem. Up next I think should be Andy Moor Ecomix. I am quite a fan of the dub oriented Losers Mix too.

Overall, brings in some nice dimensions to what is already an excellent tune!
Worth 6 quid? For the fan - yes. For everyone? Well, I would but this is really my type of music... if unsure grab a couple of and if you like it, complete the set!

Hybrid began as a trio of remixers based in the Welsh city of Swansea: Mike Truman, Chris Healings, and Lee Mullin. Meeting while going to clubs in the early '90s, the three made their own remixes of recordings, eventually earning assignments from record companies to pursue their hobby professionally. Finally, they were signed to Distinct'ive Records and embarked on making an ambitious first album, Wide Angle, in Moscow, using such talents as singer Julee Cruise and the 90-piece Russian Federal Orchestra....
