A beast of an album.

Volume from the pits of hell, it makes just about every other rocking metal band sound like Belle and Sebastian. Crunching riffs, vocals that are just about distinguishable from the sound one would expect from a chat with Satan himself and you have Dopethrone. The only comparison I could possibly draw is with Deftones, but in all honesty that goes nowhere near giving this lot justice. It is heavy, intense and darn good when you're ready to demolish your neighbours tolerance to your favourite metal monsters. Enjoy? Yeah, you will.

Formed in darkest Dorset by vocalist/guitarist Justin Oborn (previously with Lords of Putrefaction), bassist Tim Bagshaw, and drummer Mark Greening, and initially known as Thy Grief Eternal (briefer still, simply...
