Customer Reviews

Simply brilliant - smashed it yet again! In typical Dreadzone style, each Dread Times track easily stands on its own, smacking you in the face with rhythm, creativity and (where needed) emotion all wrapped up in stunning production. Their live events are virtually indistinguishable from the vinyl and always deliver in bucket loads. All this, but they remain humble and connected to the fans, and it’s always great to meet them at gigs. (For those not acquainted with DZ, also take the opportunity to love Second Light – for me, quite simply and without question, the best album ever).

Dreadzone drop yet another brilliant album!

Ok my favourite band can do no wrong as far as I am concerned, but Dread Times is one of their strongest albums and really gets into the heart of their vibe and their roots.
I never like to pick out individual tracks but listen to an album as a whole and judge it on the experience and how it makes me feel.
Dread Times just touches my soul though.
For any Dreadzone fan this is the album I think we all knew was coming and it won't disappoint.
For those new to this band, as Spee would say, be prepared to pop your cherry!

A dub band relying heavily on sampling and other elements of electronica, they debuted in 1993 on Creation Records...
