Scots Fiddle at its best

Can't say much more. Alastair Fraser is one of the greatest exponents of the Scots Fiddle tradition. If you think that fiddle playing is just reels and jigs, then you've really got to give an ear to some of the strathspeys on this - really driven as in the title. And the accompaniment of Stecher's guitar is excellent - inventive but never dominating.
