The New Pipettes

Quite dissimilar to their debut album, the new lineup of the Pipettes has just released their new record. Of course, with a half-new line-up (Ani Saunders replacing Rose Elinor Dougall and RiotBekki of Electric Blue) comes a slight change in direction. Their 60's group style is still present, but is mixed somewhat with 70s and late 80s influences too, which is a refreshing change. Though their tongue-in-cheek lyrics are somewhat diluted, this album is definately better than the critics have been suggesting and is extremely listenable and most definately packed full of fun.

Standout tracks are Call Me, Our Love Was Saved By A Spaceman, and Need A Little Time.
