Green Fields of Foreverland delivers upon the promise of Isobel Campbell's sparkling contributions to the albums and singles of Belle and Sebastian — highlights like "Dirty Snow for the Broken Ground" and "Rose I Love You" are exquisite folk-pop gems in the vein of The Boy with the Arab Strap's "Is It Wicked Not to Care?," and with bandmates like Stuart David and Stevie Jackson on board, it's the next best thing to a new B&S album.
