A superb collection of songs

This is a truly outstanding compilation from the man who brings us so many diverse styles. This time it is the softer side of Jeff that takes center stage and what a truly beautiful collection of songs these really are. There are too many highlights and strong tracks to mention as the best have been sensibly plucked from his three solo albums and EP releases. Also included here are three new tracks which are a welcome bonus for those of you who may already have his albums. Jeff's cover of Journey's 'Send Her My Love' stands out as one of the finest tracks and no doubt is inspired by Jeff's recent collaboration with Neal Schon with the band 'Soul SirkUS'. No wonder Neal went looking for Jeff to be the front man. Also on here is Jeff's Prince inspired '4U' which shows Jeff's songwriting talent as well as gorgeous vocals. 'If This Is The End' is worthy of a single release and defines the mood of not giving up hope, with it's sweeping lyrics and no doubt Queen inspired guitar solo, as it is well publicised how much Jeff is inspired by Queen and only fitting that he got to perform with Brian and Roger and has stayed close friends. Another stand out track is 'Till The End Of Time' from Jeff's Prism album. This really is a special track that raises goosbumps by the time it gets to the end as the harmonies build and soaring vocals again prove that Jeff really is one of the most underatted singers this planet has to offer. I recently heard 'As I Do For You' on the radio and suddenly realised it was Jeff blasting through my car stereo. It seems that some radio stations are beginning to pick up on this relatively new star as Jeff has quite a large following of fans in the UK, due to his live concert performances. With a new solo album already underway the world holds their breath for this amazing performer to once again hit the stage. If you love sweeping, epic, ballads with a rock edge then this is the album you've been waiting for.

Truly Great

Brilliant album, Jeff should make it to the charts, he's a lot better than some of the artists in there now. Fantastic vocal range and one of the best live performers you will ever see. He should have been asked to do the vocals for Queen.

Not bad but the best is still to come.....

Nearly four years since the first time I saw JSS live comes this collection of ballads sure to get you what you want at the weekend. The album starts off rather strangely with "If this is the end", a cracking track which really shows off JSS' vocal range. The thing with JSS is that it really is difficult to catagorise him. Sometimes he's an out n' out rocker, sometimes he's a soul divo but what can always be said is that he always truely delivers a song. This is probably why he has been chosen to replace Steve Augeri as the front man of rock legends Journey on their up and coming world tour. He's even thrown in a Journey cover, "send her my love", for good measure.
