Album Review

Comprised of one disc of hits and one disc of rarities, the double-disc retrospective Fishbone 101: Nuttasaurusmeg Fossil Fuelin' the Fonkay attempts to fulfill the needs of both the collector and the casual fan. The first disc, featuring hits and cult classics "Freddie's Dead" and "Everyday Sunshine," is a fine overview of their career, hitting nearly all of the band's best moments. On its own, it would be the album to own for casual fans. The second disc is filled with B-sides, demos, alternate takes, and rarities that will be of utmost interest to dedicated followers.

really pleased to find this record on Itunes Of my whole record collection, its fishbone's cd's that generally dont make it back if i lend them out, and this is a great introduction to this massively influential band - trust me - you will want more when you hear it

Led by vocalist/saxophonist Angelo Moore, the band formed in 1979 while the members were still...
