Intriguing Exhibition

I follow the work of Audiobulb Records because of their release philosophy - each artist is concerned with detail and beauty and sets a context away from the obvious mainstream. Exhibition #3 unfolds to present a balanced menu of abstract ambience, glitched moments, strong electronics and tampered acoustic play. It is good to hear new works from Nomad Palace who shows us a heavy bass counterbalanced with glitched up vocals and field recordings. Ultre’s track is special - with an exuberant melody stretching across the piano scale - cascades or notes and expert rhythmic programming. Kuffer, Calika, Henry and Diagram all reproduce solid examples of their works - with Kuffer’s being the most exploratory in its scope and nature. I feel mentally exhausted by Disastrato and calmed and renewed by Bllix - these are the terms in which listening comes into me. Audiobulb shows its strength in numbers and continues to push music forward in an exciting and interesting way.

Audiobulb strikes again.

A beautiful collection of tracks from one of the uk's leading purveyors of experimental electronic music. A real treat for both the ears and the mind.
