Perfect definition of alternative rock

This album is arguably one of the defining alternative rock albums. It's beautifully written with thought provoking and heart string tugging lyrics, stunning music and Gary Lightbody's unique voice. As individual songs, every track is as good as the last, but as an album it tells a sad and simultaneously uplifting story. Stunning!
