love it

energetic, jumpy, jerky and powerful. the drums are after your heart, let them have it.

Poor American Anglophiles

Listening and getting sucked into liking this is probably akin to some 17 year old American dude hearing the band Bush for the first time - ie laughable to us but amazing to them. See through this fakery and their sooooo too obvious influences. There is nothing musically new here; they just parade around trying to beat us at our own game. SUPPORT UK INDIE, not AMERICAN FAKERY!

Just awful. I too watched the band perform on the Shockwaves NME tour, but all I saw was a pretentious gang of American Anglophiles. The singer throws himself about in a poor imitation of Ian Curtis or Morrisey, certainly not expressing any individuality, and this mood is captured perfectly on the "song", a faux indie track destined for bleak memories. I urge you, buy the new We Were Promised Jetpacks EP instead; you won't regret it.
