If you buy one album this year, get this

Brilliant album. I've been listening to the original release pretty much all the time since 2004. The new additions and remixes are fantastic. 'Nothing' is an outstanding song, and while the 'Walking Away' Tocadisco/Guetta remixes have been the tunes of this summer, the real treat lies in all their original album songs. From the hauntingly cool 'Wall', chilled-out 'Venice Beach', to the paranoid 'Always There' (a great one full volume when driving at night!), not forgetting 'Funky Dubé' which sounds classy, french, cool and, well....funky. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. There is not one bad song on this album. Once you have bought this one, go and get all their other albums too. Any self respecting music lover should have all their stuff! The Egg, I salute you!

This is truly amazing-superb album !!

Egg-cellent album with some great remixes that takes you on a ride up and down with equal skill, I thoroughly enjoyed every track especially the club favourite-'Toca disco', 'Walking Away'. Some others that will blow you away too though, hope to hear much more from this band. R.

An all time favourite

I bought this album when it first came out and it is an all time favourite. I've been a fan of The Egg since seeing them playing in a beer tent at Glastonbury Festival in 1997 and as a live act, they are truly exciting. This album deserves to be a mainstream hit. It captures some of the vibrancy of their live shows, but mixes in some really luscious and mellow music. This album manages to be both uplifting and ideal for chilling out. For now, The Egg are a well kept secret, but they deserve to reach a wider audience.

An electronics-heavy but performance-oriented group influenced by a wide variety of styles (including jazz-funk, prog rock, drum'n'bass, and Madchester), the Egg -- centered around brothers Matt and Ned Scott -- formed in Oxford, England, in 1994. The group released a couple singles on Cup of Tea before linking with Indochina for their first full-length, 1996's Albumen. The group continued to release singles at a somewhat steady pace through Travelator, an album produced by Death in Vegas' Tim Holmes...
