Album Review

While Game of Thrones is normally a pretty intense show, without spoiling anything, its third season was easily its most gut-wrenching outing. Serving as the backdrop to all the intrigue, mayhem, betrayal, and battle is Game of Thrones: Music from the HBO Series, Season 3. Composed by Ramin Djawadi, who also scored the first two season of the fantasy series, the show's soundtrack will transport fans of the show to some of the most shocking and surprising events with a musical tour, allowing fans to escape to Westeros and beyond by just putting on a pair of headphones.

Amazing Soundtrack, Amazing Show

The music of Game of Thrones is so subtle that it never distracts you, yet epic enough to be the making of a scene. Beautiful and haunting, the soundtrack of Series 3 is as varied and layered as the show itself; highlights for me are 'Dracarys', 'Dark Wings, Dark Words', and 'The Lannisters Send Their Regards.' I just wish that the music the band was playing at the Red Wedding was included; it was pretty jolly and juxtaposes what followed so brilliantly. And that is why Game of Thrones is the very best show on TV!

Beautiful

Remember all those nights of listening and crying with emotion over Lord of the Rings music? (???) This is the same experience with the greatest television production of all time (and the best books. Yes, read them)

Mysterious, dark and beautiful.

Those 3 words sum up this amazing album..As I write this I am awaiting episode 10 and I can tell you episode 9 was amazing and just hearing 'The Lannisters send their regards' sends chills down my spine.
