iTunes Review

When 50 Cent’s reputation as a hustler turned death-defying statistic threatened to overshadow his ability as a rhymer, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ buried the notion under a hail of neck-snapping tracks overseen by Dr. Dre and Eminem. Fiddy dissects street game with the coolness of a Teflon don under cross-examination. His hook game is extra sharp—“In da Club,” “What Up Gangsta,” “P.I.M.P.” and “21 Questions” stick in the brain long after the last note clears. Get Rich or Die Tryin’ made 50 a star and put New York hardcore rap back into focus.

A must have album

Another hip hop classic, this album put 50 cent amongst the greatest rappers from new york. The album had the touch of hip hop king Dr dre and his protoge eminem who also features on the album. Get rich or die tryin features other hip hop starts such as the god father of rap Snoop dogg, nate dogg, eminem and other g-unit members. The album includes the club anthem ' in da club' , many men, whats up gangsta, 21 questions and more. This album is must have for all hip hop fans.

Astonishingly good

It's relentless, it's compelling, it's excellent, it's one of my Desert Island Discs.

in da club is classy 21 questions is good Window shopper is classy. BUY IT THIS IS AMAZING

Though he would later struggle with the nature of his fame as well as market expectations, 50 Cent endured substantial obstacles throughout his young yet remarkably dramatic life before becoming the most discussed figure in rap, if not pop music in general, circa 2003. Following an unsuccessful late-'90s run at mainstream success (foiled by an attempt on his life in 2000) and a successful run on the New York mixtape circuit (driven by his early-2000s bout with Ja Rule), Eminem signed 50 Cent to a...
