Just gets better and better

Imo Marina's the best thing to happen to music this year and this is a perfect showcase of her talents. Her vocals are different but not off-putting, leaping between angelic highs and sultry moodiness (often in the same line) in a unique and ingenius way no other contemporary performer can. This is a lot better than her previous iTunes 2009 EP (not that it was bad - she just sounded a little nervous), but here she's confident of her astounding ability due to her recent success and as a result pulls of a completely flawless performance.

Best songs are Numb and Obsessions - full of feeling and emotion, with unusual and a mix of dark and humorous lyrics and pitch-perfect vocals from Marina.

If you like this then PLEASE have a listen to her album The Family Jewels and her current single Oh No! :)

Luv it!!

This is the first time I hav heard Marina playin live and she sounds gr8 love her music x

Not Gonna Bend Over And Cursty.....well apart from if it's for Marina :)

I love this live EP! I wasn't at the festival as I live in Scotland but I can get a clear picture of what it could have been like. I especially loved Girls, especially the screaming part in the bridge to replace the laugh. I wish she could've done Mowgli's Road again though

Early on, she claimed that her inspirations were Britney Spears and Gwen Stefani -- who she often covered at live gigs -- but her songs have a soulful edge pointing to a deeper source...
