Groundbreaking Disc

Two albums defined the early 1980's and re popularised dance/disco....The first was the debut opus from the most famous woman on the planet right now, Madonna by Madonna and then this from Shannon, where Madonna's debut opus tapped into the underground club scene of the day Shannons effort brought to the masses what was happening on the street, it brough breakdance, hip hop and street electro to the fore. Grandmaster Flash recalls that those two songs paved the way for dance music to re-invade the charts after the backlash in the early 80's toward disco, Let The Music Play is a cracking album, mixed with Madonna's debut it sounds cooler than ever.
