3 Queens of the Stoneage tracks, more Unkle tracks that you can shake a stick at!….is this a City album or a homage to UNKLE / James Lavelle!!…..very disappointed

Lavelle at his adaptable best

Not sure what I expected, but I love it all the same. A really good mix with a smattering of intensity. Summertime tunes for mine.

Deep, dark & driving

Yeah sure, there are a lot of UNKLE reworks/remixes; however Lavelle has built & developed his sound over the years and I for one love it. Intricate layers built on a hypnotic, driving beats make for a moody, deep and dark underground sound. When you go see a band, they play their own songs so why people find it hard to accept when DJ’s play their own tracks, I don’t entirely understand. This mix builds upon Lavelle’s other GU offerings and has quick become my favourite (Barcelona was hard to beat!).
