If music had a soul, this would be it.

A massive 16 years later and I take great pride in being able stand shoulder to shoulder with and boast of being one of Chicane's biggest followers.. I've watched the years roll by set to the varied soundtracks of Offshore, Saltwater, Don't Give Up, Stoned In Love, Poppiholla and many more. Everyone can say they have 'heard' good music, but not everyone will tell you that they have felt it. Chicane, Is music with feeling, the stuff memories are made of.. On almost every single album Nick Bracegirdle has released there is something to be enjoyed by everyone.. Every album since "Far From The Maddening Crowds" in 1997 has undoubtedly raised the bar higher and higher and "Thousand Mild Stare" is no exception. From the seamlessly chilled "Windbreaks" to the emotively beautiful "Playing Fields" this album is one that will be played and remembered for a very long time. Well done guys.. It just works... :-)

Chicane is the reason I got into producing music and far from the maddening crowds changed the way I viewed music forever. This album is no exception it's just beautiful and like all the others, transports you to another world. This is music! Period!

Raising the bar once again

Chicane never let you down... Keep producing the magic ...
Awesome ..…

He then enlisted Clannad's Maire Brennan for a remake of the Clannad hit "The Theme from Harry's Game" under the title "Saltwater," which reached the U.K. Top Ten and became an international hit.
