Album Review

Good Don’t Sleep is the debut album from Manchester indie-rock outfit Egyptian Hip Hop. They emerged during 2009 in a wave of hype and released their debut EP Some Reptiles Grew Wings. The four-piece then went on hiatus as lead singer Alexander Hewett became a touring member of Connan Mockasin and then Charlotte Gainsbourg's band. The band regroup here for their first full-length record which showcases their angular rhythms and scruffy melodies., Rovi

Brilliant and original listen.

Excellent debut

Definitely one of the finest debut albums of the year, and one that takes a few listens to really get your head round. Highly recommended!
