Album Review

A fairly typical Naxos set, this release features 16 love themes (mostly love themes — one could quibble whether "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is actually a love song) done by Richard Hayman & His Symphony Orchestra. It's everything you might expect — soothing, bombastic, and stirring by turns. In the end, though, it's mostly music for the background while you're doing something else.
