Recommend: Hawkwind, God & Satan (album version)

The string arrangement on this version of 'God & Satan' is pretty god awful. Apparently the band weren't happy about the strong strings on Many of Horror so maybe they weren't too pleased with this effort either.

'Hawkwind" stands out as the song with a stronger chorus and is possibly the only one here worth buying as I would definitely recommend the album version of the single. The other b-sides, as with many from 'Only Revolutions', tend to sound less like songs and more like ideas stretched out and played with but all are good to listen to.

Biffy are my favorite band by a long shot, however these tracks are a massive dissapointment. God+Satan is nowhere near as good as the album version, and the B sides are boring and dull. Definatley not their best work

Everything Biffy has done is amazing and these B-Sides are fun, they could sing nursery rhymes and I'd still love it, they're the best band going I reckon and this EP is another for the collection :D mon the Biff. They should totally have their own record label though to control what they're working on.
