Bob himself didn't like it. But I do!

Bob's debut always stands out for so many fans because it was the sound of a young man trying to emulate his hero Woody Guthrie. He does it pretty darn well here and the whole album has an innocence of youth feel that is very touching. Each song is trip back in time and played with the truth and honesty of their original composers. Key tracks here include Talkin' New York, Baby, Let Me Follow You Down and Song To Woody. The rest are also great, you'd be doing yourself a service to buy this album

Simply perfect

Bob at his best - raw talent, beautiful voice. My favourite is Man of Constant Sorrow which is just stunning.

Lovely surprise,Bob's version surpasses every other.
