Album Review

A wise choice for sabbath inspirations, Oh Lord, My Redeemer gives life to the spirit of the Lord through light piano arrangements. As always, Goldstein is sure to adapt his style to the intended mood. The romance of his three-volume pop collection is traded for a more relaxed performance. This volume of Jeff Goodrich favorites brings to mind the personal moments that build our spirits one line at a time: baptisms of children and friends, scriptural inspiration, family time, and receiving answers to prayers. Goldstein, accompanied by a full orchestra, serves the popular songs "Oh Lord, My Redeemer," "I Heard Him Come," and "You Can Believe in Christ" in a warm manner. Fans of either Goldstein or Goodrich should enjoy these interpretations that allow the listener to internalize the feel of these ten songs without lyrics.
