How Many More Of These Do We Have To Endure?

I love PVD I really do but I am really fed up of all these classics albums with the same or similar tunes on them all the time. If you take a look at almost any trance classics album whether it be from Cream, Gods or GC then they all contain the same and obviously would as there are only so many classic tunes in this genre. What is the point in the constant churn out of the same type albums?

It's not PVD's fault and he is still one of my favourite DJ's and if I am to be honest this CD is not bad, I've just heard it all before and I'm sure any other honest person will say the same.

An earlier reviewer "GROOVERGROOVER" said this is by far the best Crasher comp ever, I totally disagree, you have obviosuly not listened to the earlier Crasher albums like Red, Blue, Wet, Discoteque etc?! Crasher please can we have another one of those type albums as they were real CLASSICS!!!!

If you think this is the real PVD then think again. Download his set from Gatecrasher Summer Sound System 2001 and listen to the real PVD at work. The greatest set of all time.

Woeful

Like a an old show pony being wheeled out for the bored masses, how long will gatecrasher continue to churn out this excuse for music?....

Paul van Dyk!

An absolutely superb collaboration between PvD and Gatecrasher! There's some great new stuff that i hadn't heard before mixed in with some all-time classics and it really works. Great to have the LP included as well, makes a nice change to get all the artwork and stuff for once on a digital album. Hopefully this wil be a regular thing from now on.

A native of a German town near Frankfurt, van Dyk first heard house music on the radio during the mid-'80s. Soon he was experimenting with a rudimentary turntable setup, and after hitting Berlin, he gigged around the city. By 1991, he had appeared at the legendary Tresor club; he later set up his own E-Werk...
