Customer Reviews

Edgy, catchy and well worth a buy!

If you like great vocals, complex yet cracking guitar work and awesome rhythms - you'll really enjoy this. It's well worth a buy as I've found that even the sample 20secs doesn't do justice to the whole track. After checking them out online they have other superb songs in the pipeline aswell. Avoid if you like boring, predictable music.

Wonderful vocals, brilliant band!

Better than Danny Dyer

Although every review of a band refers to bands that sound similar, this can be a compliment or a criticism. In the case of "Last Days of Lorca" it is most certainly the former. For those of us that miss the early to middle era of Muse, before they produced themselves out of existence, Lorca shows us where Muse could have gone if they had the integrity. Mentioning The Mars Volta is a given with the band and this song would be right at home on "De-loused in the Crematorium", but although a strong influence on the band, The Mars Volta are by no means a limiting factor and what Lorca mainly borrow is pristine musicianship, ambitious and well-executed vocals, and a sense of control that still allows wonderful drama. Buy the song, it's 79p, and start saving for the album.
