A small but excellent selection.
Being such a small game currently, the soundtrack of Sonic Runners only totals 20 minutes at the moment, but every track is a winner. There's a wonderful summery energy to every piece that really captures the freedom and spirit of Sonic's character, and fans of the most recent title, Sonic Lost World, will appreciate the continuation of the musical styles introduced in that game, with a heavy focus on piano and violins alongside the more typical fast-paced percussion and eletric guitars modern Sonic music is known for.
As a bonus, this is the first time a Sonic soundtrack has recieved a worldwide digital release. I hope SEGA keep this up because I was very excited to finally be able to purchase a Sonic soundtrack as soon as it became available rather than wait months for it to be added to the iTunes store after the physical Japanese CD release, long after I've had opportunities to hear the music on youtube and other outlets and lose interest in purchasing an official copy.
