DJ Format and Abdominal are producing real Hip Hop

I would just like to say that DJ Format is one of the few people out there that are actually creating quality music that doesnt bow down to what the industry expects. This is inavative stuff and I aint surprised that morons like the person who wrote the '1984 to 2006' review dont appreciate it. Its because people are spoon fed music. No doubt that guy listens to 50 cent and other mediocre merchandise sellers. Get a personality and try something outside of radio 1 and top of the pops.

Format has a knack previously witnessed with the likes of J5...... Returning to a supposedly defunct format and making it sound fresh. This album though does have its differnces in that obviuosly most of the tracks are remixed by different artists. All the tracks are solid and the artists are all outstanding in the fields of funk and jazz (especially Prefuse 73 and Little Barrie) All in all a solid E.P which complements a traditional, but fresh album. Cheers for the Summers Mr. Ford. (Oh and rumour has it he is working on his third album at the mo. Can't Wait!!)

Spankingly Funky

Formats album was fantastic as one would expect, but now we have another serving of pure funk! At only about £4... Buy it. If you like this check out the whitmo' deans from wolverhampton for all live music... the best in soul, breaks, grooves and rarities -
