Marvellous

I saw him playing some of this material in Cheltenham earlier this month. It was an astonishing concert.

I was ready to be disappointed with the studio version.

But no. The compositions are great, the playing is exceptional, and the production is superlative.

The bass is deep in the mix and it's funky as hell.

My ears are bleeding!

Back to form

Miller seems to have rediscovered his MoJo on this album. Instead of regurgitated ''live from'' stuff he's done recently! If you're a returning fan you'll love this! If your a new fan you'll find out why Miller is regarded as one of the most influential bassist of our generation. The band he has put together are very tight, and they groove from the 1st to the last track.

Superb!!

This is a fantastic album from Marcus Miller... It's up there with 'The Sun Don't Lie' it's that good.

Alex Han is a prodigy on the sax and he reminds me of the late great Bob Berg... I love every track, which I cannot say about many albums but I can honestly say this ticks all the boxes!!
