You should have been there

There is no substitute for live music and Kid Creole live was just the best stage show for years, this album does, however, give you a taste of the energy and pulse of the stage show. The shame of it is that it doesn't include No Fish Today, so buy that as a supplimentary track to add to your collection. Like all Kid music the real power of the Coconuts backing is a bit lost but the beat and the fun is all there. Full volume, glass of Pimms and a sunny day - jive on the lawn and enjoy - it's innocnet fun!

Too right, ''Bob the Dog''!

Good days. A lovely carribean tune, letting your mind drift to the wonderful setting.

He

Saw him at "Vintage" at Goodwood just a couple of weeks ago together with the coconuts (albeit a new crop!), and he still rocks. Had a great crowd of all ages eating out of the palm of his hand, and dancing to the music - just wonderful. All the old songs, all the old stage presence, all the old energy (how does he do it?). If you get a chance, go see!!!!
