It celebrates the life and work of a vocalist whose simple yet heartfelt delivery touched many people. Desmond excelled at upholding tradition and the rare, fine art of singing songs that she considered to be the greatest ever written, largely from the Great American Songbook. This sentimental journey features performances by Bill Charlap, Randy Brecker, Roger Kellaway, and others on such songs as "Make Someone Happy," "You're the Top," and "Nice Work if You Can Get It."
