I Was There!

I went to the first night of this gig! I really loved it and remember thinking at the time that I wished that someone somewhere would release it because I could not get over how powerful Noel's vocals were. Anyway, the surprise part of the evening was when he sang a cover of The Smiths' 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out', it's one of my favourite songs. Noel also sang The Beatles' 'Strawberry Fields' that night but he fluffed the lines and started laughing!

Although Oasis maintained a near-permanent place in the tabloids -- thanks in large part to Noel's public battles with his younger brother, Liam, as well as the wild...
