In Conflict

This guy has a fantastic, sweet, melting voice that soothes the soul. The percussive background instrumentals/riffs are striking and inventive, adding edge to the vocals (and perhaps stopping you drifting off into nirvana). I would like to see the full lyrics to see how these relate to the sound. But, regardless, as SOUND the compositions work really well. I came across him fortuitously but look forward to more from this artist.

Now seen the lyrics.....hmmm. Poetic images. I'll work on them. His baritone to falsetto works but seeing him on video looks like the voice is not transposing from gut to head (which will put strain on the vocal cords in the long run). Oh dear, I'm being a hypercritical virgo again. Lovely album nevertheless.
