iTunes Review

“Shorty, I ain’t got no game,” R&B hip-hopper Ne-Yo sings on “I Ain’t Gotta Tell You That,” working it even as he denies it. The latest, and one of the best, in a long row of artists melding luscious soul verities with boomin’-system beats, the singer multitracks himself into a vocal orchestra; the result is an album that pays off from end to end. Ne-Yo spins line after line, each a little worn and each freshened by his sensual, witty approach. He’s “So Sick” of love songs that remind him of you, loves the sex that happens “When You’re Mad,” wants to do it in front of the “Mirror,” “Ain’t Gotta Tell You” how fine you are ’cause he knows you hear it all the time. A boyishly raised eyebrow helps get him over, while never obscuring the beauty of this music.

Pure R'n'B

This guy has an amazing voice and to go with that he's also a pretty good songwriter! He already proved this by working with the likes of Mario, Mary J Blige, Chris Brown and Musiq. This album is heavy with his songwriting talent clearly showing through on tracks such as It Just Ain't Right, Sexy Love, Let Go, Get Down Like That and When You're Mad. Most of the tracks on the album have got the potential to be big hits. This is the kind of album where your favourite track will keep changing the more you listen to it. Ne-Yo is one of the more exciting new R'n'B talents to come through and a breath of fresh air!!

Awesome Debut

Not since Usher's 8701 have I sat and listened to an R&B album and liked at least 99% of the songs on the album. This one has come to break that pattern. This is an awesome album every song is solid and most are good enough to be released as singles. The stand out track for me though are Stay, So Sick, When you're Mad, Sign Me Up, Get Down Like that (Original and Remix). This young man's voice is AWESOME and so is the album. Great to chill to and party along with.

Briliant Album

I have heard a few of Ne-Yo's songs ages ago and have been waiting for this Album to drop. Finally it's here. The melodies and vocals on this items are wicked and I think this is one of the best debut RnB albums ever. I recomend this album highly so buy it now....!

Ne-Yo was one of the most successful songwriters and artists of the 2000s. His breakthrough didn't come until late 2004, as the co-songwriter of Mario's "Let Me Love You," a number one Hot 100 hit that Billboard later determined to be the eighth most successful single of the decade. By the close of 2009, however, Ne-Yo had racked up a career's worth of accomplishments. He released three albums, all of which went platinum in the United States. Seven of his singles, as well as five on which he appeared...
