Oh dear.

Alas, more of the same that has marked Marcus Miller's last few releases. I would say "fresh out of ideas" , but there is little that is fresh here. The playing, as ever , is up to the usual standard but there is a dearth of experimentation or verve that makes the whole experience slightly sterile.

Another Marcus Miller classic!

His musicianship is even tighter; his choice of songs funkier; his writing skills sharper and his soul vibe badder than ever before. Still original and STILL THE BEST!

check out pluck and funk joint. Masterpieces. Also a really nice version of the standard When I Fall In Love. Marcus is the best!
