The best of the Curved Air albums

This was the high point of their career. The album contains their only hits single "Back Street Luv" and was most probably the bands most settled period. The songs are all great. The first song Young Mother was being played in later years and still sounded good. "Everdance" is the only really fast track. But the best of all is "Piece of Mind" the album takes a little work listening to but is well worth the time spent. To my mind their finest hour!

I agree this album lacks the outright innovation of CA1. But it is still a good listen despite the basic sound recording. I bought it in 1971 and even my Grandmother liked this one! She hated ELP!
