Guster's best

A great album from a great band - all their albums are good, but this has the edge.

Yay for hidden gems!

Caught this band live in 2003 as a support act - and they were better than the headliners! Had to order the CD as an import originally as there was only backroom interest in the UK at the time - such a shame this is only a partial album on iTunes!!! The album is just a great mix of folksy pop rock, with well written melodic tracks that you will take to your heart. I keep coming back to this album time and again - it never fails to put a smile on my face - success for the band aside - this group bloom without main stream attention and to be perfectly selfish - I want it to stay that way!

I love Guster! I've been a fan since Parachute but this is my favourite album of theirs (closely followed by Ganging up on the Sun). I don't understand why more people haven't heard of them in the UK and I would love to see them live. Best songs to try on this album: Ramona, Keep it Together, I Hope Tomorrow is Like Today (featured on the film Wedding Crashers) and Amsterdam! But they're all brilliant!!

Released in 1999, Lost and Gone Forever widened the band’s sound considerably, and the follow-up album found percussionist Brian Rosenworcel playing a drum set...
