Essential purchase!

So glad the original cover for this album was also released for this Deluxe Version of the iconic Liverpool band.. Liverpool in the 80's was a fusion of huge talent born out of the Thatcher years! This album influenced many bands of the time. Treason and Poppies are my favs, but they are all good. The Liverpool scene was very hip with early OMD/ Echo/Bunnymen/Frankie GTH / It's Immaterial and Afraid of Mice being just a few of the up and coming bands! This album takes me back to Probe in Liverpool a record shop in Mathew Street where you bought the latest coolest albums around, Pete Burns would even serve you! Download this album you'll get a great reward if you do. Love it!

Kilimanjaro

The band's self esteem suffered a terrible blow when the record company removed their picture from the original album sleeve and replaced it with an image of a herd of shifty looking zebras grazing in front of er, Kilimanjaro. Thank God Factory Records didn't adopt such a literal approach with the artwork for "Bummed".
