iTunes Review

On his major-label debut, post-grime MC Wretch 32 tempers his streetwise bravado with self-reflective sensitivity. Playing off a DJ Premier-influenced slab of boom bap on “Please Don’t Let Me Go,” he raps about the trials of fatherhood, revisiting the same theme on the Ed Sheeran-assisted pop anthem “Hush Little Baby”. Yet for all the time he’s spent near a crib, he still knows his way around the club: “Unorthodox” samples The Stone Roses for its eclectic Madchester pulse, and “Traktor” is bursting with gnarled dancehall bluster.

Black And White

The first two singles of this album were quality and I was really looking forward to his album well that was until I heard the third single which put me off buying black and white but I took a chance with this album and i made the wright choice because not only has don't go grown on me the album is superb from start to finish. My favorite tracks have to be Black and White,I'm Not the Man (feat. Chipmunk & Angel),sane's the New Mad,Don't Be Afraid (feat Delilah) and Hush Little Baby (feat Ed Sheeran) wretch's flow on this album is amazing and so are the lyrics I really hope this charts well because he deserves it for the amount of effort put into this album well done wretch ! .

Number 1 lyricist in the U.K. Not that I'm surprised by how good Wretch is, those who know him from his mixtape days will know he is very lyrical.

As expected from wretch, not one song I dislike
