A bit different from past offerings...

Long courrier is different. Before, indie rockers BB Brunes produced excellent, catchy, Arctic Monkeys-esque music with choruses that even the English could understand. Now however, they have moved their style into more of a synth-based, Hot Chip take off. Personally I'm not a hot chip fan, but this album is still an excellent pick up, the catchy hooks are still there in places, but often over synthed. Highlights include lead single "coups et blessures", album opener "grande rio" and disco thumper "lala queen". If you can only get one bb brunes album this is not the best, but definitely worth a look for fans and music lovers in general...

French pop-punk trio BB Brunes features members who have known each other since they were kids. In 2005, a demo recording caught the ears of a college friend of the band who passed it along to his father and former member of the rockabilly revivalist trio Les Costars who had just created his own label. Excited by BB Brunes' youthful exuberance and punk attitude, Claud Sitruk signed the band.
