Long time coming but worth the wait

Alex has a voice that is instantly recognisable and she is I think unique in the world of Popular music. Looking for water is wonderful song and I love it. It has that whimsical quality tinged with regret and longing. Near Death Experience is one that initially you wonder what is going on but then you realise the anguish in the background that just hits you. Great vocals and I love em both. Well done Alex Parks. Can't wait to hear the album due out next week. 24 October.

A new direction for Alex, and one that's paid off

This new material is completely different from Alex's earlier stuff, relying more on emotional rather than raw power, but it works surprisingly well. Looking for Water is a nice song, very soft and gentle, and sees Alex singing higher than usual. I've heard stronger tracks from the new album but this is still a very nice, easy listening track. If you enjoy contemporary adult pop then you'll love it The B-side Near Death Experience is the total opposite of Looking for Water, being a heavy rock track where she unleashes the full power of her voice. A bit rough around the edges, but makes a very good B-side

Alex Parks is GREAT!!

Fantastic, Alex has a great voice, looks stunning and comes out with different and unique songs.
