Album Review

Will Young follows up 2008’s Let It Go with Echoes, an album that sees the 2002 U.K. Pop Idol winner continue to build on his reputation as one of the finest singer/songwriters in British pop music. Produced by Richard X (Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Steve Mason), Echoes includes the pulsing beat and building piano line of the single "Jealousy," which is delivered in Young’s ever-impressive, honest vocal style.

The best album I've ever heard. I've never been so impressed with an artist before. I like all the songs; I can't stop listening to the album, I listen to it 5-6 times a day!

I'm very impressed Will

Although I've previously admired Will and his quirky videos I've not been a huge fan of his music (with the exception of a few songs here and there). This album has changed all that - it's bloomin' fantastic. I'd say it's my favourite album of the last few years. I tend to pick a few songs from albums to put on my mp3 player, but this takes me back to when I bought vinyl, cos I'm playing the whole album start to finish over and over - that's rare these days. Don't worry if some of it washes over you on first play - it'll grow and grow with every play.

A brilliant comeback album! x welcome back Will :)
