Sweet lord!

An amazing album by an amazing artist. It's hip hop with this kind of deep rooted spirituality that makes you feel elevated when you hear it. His depth of expression and inspired production reminds the listener that hip hop is so much more than what we think it is, sure I love a thumping beat, scantily clad ladies dancing to suggestive lyrics, rappers rapping about how much they own etc but I also love this. Language and music synthesised into one beautiful blur of feeling. Hip hop infused jazz/ poetry= mammoth greatness of talent! Also check out Pete Philly and Perquisite... Your ears will thank you.

I absolutely love this album and everything that Pete Philly is part of!! Every song on this album is amazing! Ocean, Loves Eulogy and Caterpillar are my favourites from this album! As stated in the above review, listen to the duo Pete Philly & Perquisite!! Amazing stuff! Definitely listen to and buy this album! It's worth every penny :D!
