Album Review

Unfortunately, the return to the high end of the charts that Alice Cooper enjoyed with 1989's Trash was short-lived. On his similar follow-up — another slick pop-metal effort — Cooper no longer had the input of hit producer/songwriter Desmond Child, and worked with Peter Collins instead. The result is an album that, although generally enjoyable and far from bad, isn't essential. The CD's more memorable offerings include the clever and amusing "Feed My Frankenstein," the dramatic "Love's a Loaded Gun," and the inspired title song — which admonishes rockers not to self-destruct. But despite its strong points, Hey Stoopid is for only Cooper's more devoted followers.

Alice Is Cool

The follow up to Trash, this is actually a better album. Still with Alice sexing up his image as in Trash, this offering has a more edgy feel. Try Snakebite, Dangerous Tonight, Might As Well Be On Mars and the classic Feed My Frankenstein. Well worth the investment.

don't miss

this is a class above the poppy heavier but so much better, whilst trash is promoted by poison...this is far,far superior throughout!

Trash 2?

This is a great rock album by a true music legend. It should be called Trash 2, continuing Coopers popularity and conjuring up more classic rock. For me, the highlights for me are Hey Stoopid, Snakebite, Might as well be on Mars, Little by Little, Wind up toy and of Course, The Classic Feed my Frankenstein. I love this album and would really recomment it to anyone. A real rock piece of Gold.

Originally, there was a band called Alice Cooper led by a singer named Vincent Damon Furnier. Under his direction, Alice Cooper pioneered a grandly theatrical and violent brand of heavy metal that was designed to shock. Drawing equally from horror movies, vaudeville, heavy metal, and garage rock, the group created a stage show that featured electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood, and huge boa constrictors, all coordinated by the heavily made-up Furnier. By that time, Furnier had adopted the name...
