Really good..

After hearing the first single off this album (Something is not right with me) i began to worry that Cold War Kids could not come up with another great album (Robbers and Cowards) however i was wrong this album is immense. Best songs are Mexican Dogs, Relief and I've seen enough.

Ups and Downs

I listen to Robbers and Cowards, Cold War Kids' debut album, almost everyday -- it's addictive singing and freaking amazing. I was really psyched for this album, I wanted it to be even more unrefined than the first but, honestly, I'm a little disappointed. To me, the first three songs meld into one with no definition. Then it's Something Is Not Right With Me which is perfect and exactly the type of music I was hoping for. Everything is fantastic (including 5 & 6) until Avalanche In B... and once again great in I've Seen Enough and Dreams Old Men Dream. That's it people. Course die-hard fans will love this. I love it. But I love the debut more. Fact of life -- the debut was better.

Their last album was great and it was always gonna be hard to live up to it. But this new album is Epic! So much depth to the tunes, the voice of the lead singer is on par with the Kings of Leon front man, bending his voice around words in such a captivating way. A must buy for 2008
