Customer Reviews

Good debut EP from Junkstar. Good to see a British band unafraid to follow the stupid indie trends.

A very good collection of debut songs from Junkstar. Stand out tracks are bluebottles and sound of the city for me. Junkstar's sound has traces of contempories Friendly Fires, Placebo, Ladytron and the Ting Tings which clashes heads with their own 70's rock vibe. Good to see a British band unafraid to follow the stupid indie trends and forge a path of their own.

Promising, energetic debut for London band

Coming across to me like an energetic Placebo, which can only be a good thing, this is a brilliant little EP. Discovered the band live a few weeks back and thankfully that live energy and genuine appeal has translated well onto CD. All the songs have great energy, catchy chorus's with Amy being my personal fave. Thoroughly recommended.
